I met Charlotte and Daniel over a year before their wedding, during their searching tour, looking for the perfect wedding venue in Umbria.

After some month they wrote to me that their search was over! Villa Baroncino, a splendid villa on the hills surrounding Lake Trasimeno, will be the frame for their Big Day.
During their second visit we went to Villa Baroncino for an inspection and I was able to see for myself the beauty of this structure.

A beautiful mid-June day framed the wedding of these two wonderful guys.
The ceremony, celebrated outdoor by Marco Bernasconi, was intense and full of interventions offering us a lot of photographic ideas.

Here is a small interview with Charlotte and Daniel:

How we met

We met when we were on Holiday In Mexico. I was there with my friend and Dan was there with his family. We agreed for me to fly over to America for thanksgiving a few months later and the rest is history. We traveled back an forth from England to America until I decided to move to the USA to be with Dan.

The preparations for this villa Baroncino Wedding

With us both being from different countries that are separated by a huge ocean, we agreed that a destination wedding would be the best idea to get all our close family and friends together to celebrate with us. For me personally I had always dreamed of getting married in Italy and half of Dan’s family originate from Italy so It felt like the perfect fit.

Choosing our wedding venue was easy, We feel in love with Villa Baroncino and my Mum & Auntie when to visit it for us and confirmed that it would be the perfect place to get married. The whole process was made easy by Marco and Christina. They took care of every detail and made our time at Villa Baroncino magical, we couldn’t have done any of this without them! We couldn’t have dreamed for a more beautiful venue, all of our guest were blown away and so were we. It was literally what dreams were made of.

My dress was a little bit more of a difficult decision to make. I knew that I wanted something a little more unique and a little less traditional, however I would never have imagine that I would have chosen the dress I did. Honestly I didn’t even know a dress like this existed. I had tried on multiple dresses but never really had that feeling everyone talks about. However my bridesmaid Amelia picked the top and skirt out while at our last appointment and we all laughed and I was like oh lets just try it on not thinking for a second this would be my dress. However the second I saw myself in it I got butterflies, I got emotional and I just knew that this was the dress I had always dreamed of.

Villa Baroncino Wedding Day

We had been waiting for this day for so long after being engaged for two years. I always thought I would be very nervous, but I can honestly say I had never felt more relaxed. We both enjoyed every second of this day and it was filled with every amazing emotion possible. I have never seen Dan cry so much and smile so much! Before the ceremony started I shared a very special moment with my Mum and Dad that I will treasure forever.

I will never forget walking down the aisle with my Dad as I gripped tight hold of his arm and seeing the look on Dan’s face as he turned around and saw me. There is so many amazing memories from this day that we will both never forget and thanks to the amazing Andrea we can always be reminded when we look back at our amazing pictures.

I think the biggest shock for me was when my Mum, Auntie Annette & bridesmaid Amelia came out in red sparkly jumpsuits and preformed a whole dance routine… I was honestly speechless and it was truly fantastic/ hysterical!

Both myself & Dan agree that one of the most amazing parts of our wedding for us was seeing friends and family from two different countries coming together and becoming one. During our wedding, so many amazing relationships & friendships were made and this is something we will treasure forever!!
