My idea about wedding photography

I shoot a wedding with the goal to build a reportage, a story. This means that I try as much as possible to blend me in among the guests. Doing this I not affect in any way the natural course of events. In fact I can capture the genuine emotions of your wedding.

Is for this that the spouses never look at me and they are truly natural. Take a look at my Real weddings in Tuscany and Umbria on the website.

I love to shoot also posed photos, of course, as well as the formal photos with your families and friends (if you’ll love to have them).
My profile during the day wants always to be low. My presence usually takes a back seat and you’ll enjoy your wedding without feeling the “pressure” of the photographer.

Who am I?

I love the Bulldogs, I have two of them with which I use to walk in the Umbrian hills or at the Trasimeno lake and I also have an insane passion for aircraft scale models. I have not so much free time but one time each 2-3 years I use to take sometimes to build one of them in a very little scale.. Yes, I’m also a maniac of precision and manual work (is for this that I also love build complex wedding album layouts gluing the photos).

I’m son – or better – nephew of art. Since childhood I have been fascinated by photography and modeling, and the both, in time, gave me a lot of satisfactions and recognitions. I have always lived the photography as a unique tool to move and excite.

In 2005 I started to work with a study for learning and honing the aesthetics of photography and technique addressed specifically to the marriage and in 2008 I started my professional career in Perugia.

One of the features that distinguishes me as person and as photographer is the curiosity and the desire to grow; thanks to this feature in time I knew the wedding reportage through international associations WPJA and Artistic Guild of the WPJA. The wedding photojournalist photography wore surprisingly with my skills to telling stories with my photos so I immediately felt comfortable.

So I chose to give a profound change of my photographing considering the wedding no longer as an event to direct but as a story to tell… and it was love at first sight: while retaining an essential clean look, my photography has begun to telling about true emotions with “live” and incredibly engaging shoots .

My style has been evolving over time and became more and more personal and recognizable thanks to infrared photography, a special technique that allows me to create extremely suggestive shots in black and white.

Why wedding photography?

The answer is only one: Emotions!

I always wanted that my photograph speaks of life and that excites in any way; marriage was the natural development of this idea.
Is for this that my photography is unobtrusive and people are always natural and spontaneous: they never looks at me during the wedding because often they just don’t know where I am.

I use natural light, also if it is a very low, because a dinner by candlelight is a precise spouses’ choice and I don’t want to change the mood in any way!
I strongly believe that the wedding photos should speak about the spouses and should, in time, bring back what they have tried.
